THE ST. LAWRENCE CORRIDOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION Is focused on the attraction of new industrial and commercial employers to the region, increasing the quantity and quality of job opportunities for our residents along with assisting our existing business to expand.
Part of our core mandate is to improve the job environment for the Region where we live, play and work. In all of our decisions and actions we will put our Region First, understanding the impact we will make.
Our commission will be seen as a Collaborative partner with all stakeholders. For the existing municipal, provincial and federal partners we will strive to be an extension of their efforts and fill gaps they do not have the mandate or capacity to access. For our existing companies we will work in Collaboration with our partners and them to assist in expansion and retention activities. For prospective companies we will work with them and our partners to provide Collaborative solutions that leverage our collective strength.
We will be a Performance-Based organization with public goals and accountabilities. All of our activities will be aligned to results and we will be held accountable to deliver the Performance we have promised.
We will enter into all dealings with a Consultative approach, utilizing the best ideas and sharing wins as a result. With our existing and prospective employers, we will be a Collaborative Partner who will work to understand their business from their perspective and bring the best the St. Lawrence Corridor community has to solve problems.
All of our actions and decisions will be done through a principled set of standards. Our Board, executives and employees will be held accountable to a code of conduct that values our principles.
